What is Complaints Wiki?
expand_more
Complaints Wiki is an independent consumer complaint aggregation platform that tracks disputes across two major sectors: online casinos and consumer finance. We collect publicly available complaint data from multiple independent sources, normalize it, and make it searchable — giving consumers and researchers a single place to assess brand accountability.
How many complaints are in the database?
expand_more
Our database currently tracks over 14 million complaints across both sectors:
- 94,000+ casino complaints across 1,370 brands from 5 independent review platforms
- 14.1 million consumer finance complaints from the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), covering credit reporting, debt collection, mortgages, and more
The database is updated daily with new complaints as they are published by our sources.
Where does the data come from?
expand_more
Casino complaints are aggregated from five independent review and dispute platforms:
- Casino Guru — the largest source with 49,000+ complaints
- AskGamblers — 35,000+ complaints with a 93% resolution rate
- Casino Reviews — 7,400+ complaints
- CasinoMeister — 2,200+ complaints
- LCB (LatestCasinoBonuses) — 2,100+ complaints
- OnlineCasinosLounge — complaint mediation service
Consumer finance complaints come from the CFPB public database, which is U.S. government public domain data freely available for research and analysis.
How is the data collected and verified?
expand_more
We aggregate publicly available complaint records from each source. Casino brand names are normalized and deduplicated across platforms using automated matching with manual review — so "Bet365", "bet365", and "Bet 365" all map to the same brand.
We do not modify complaint content. Resolution statuses, outcomes, and dates are preserved exactly as reported by each source. Personal information (emails, phone numbers) found in third-party data is redacted before display.
All data links back to the original source with proper attribution.
How often is the database updated?
expand_more
The database is updated daily. Casino complaint sources are scraped every morning, and CFPB data is synced every afternoon after the bureau publishes its daily update (typically around 2:30 PM UTC).
New complaints, status changes, and resolution updates are reflected within 24 hours of being published by the original source.
What does "resolution rate" mean?
expand_more
Resolution rate is the percentage of complaints marked as "resolved" or "closed" by the source platform. For casino complaints, this means the dispute platform considers the case closed — typically after mediation between the player and the casino.
A high resolution rate (above 80%) generally indicates a brand that engages with complaint platforms and works to resolve disputes. However, "resolved" does not always mean the consumer was fully satisfied — it means the case was addressed.
For CFPB complaints, resolution is indicated by the company's response status (e.g., "Closed with explanation", "Closed with monetary relief").
